Welcome November
What a week we had!
I have a darn cold that is still affecting me, been sleeping on the couch all week so we can both get some sleep. Sis had a lombar sprain (she is now better), dad went to the hospital (glycemia was high and he got dehydrated with 24-hour flu). Sunday we went to local hospital (dh was also having some difficulty catching his breath). Both are covid tests came back negative. However we were not 'emergencies' so they sent us to another clinic for our colds... whatever it's a virus and should go away by itself.
Xavier's pneumonia got worse before it got better and he had to have an injection of antibiotics in each leg for 3 days. Now he's back to oral antibiotics. He is still coughing but his energy is back up - it's nice to see him play and run around.
Now it's Anne-Elizabeth's turn to have the crud. She is here with me all day.
It's daughter-in-law's 1st day at her new job and the end of her maternity leave. Anne-E is too sick for daycare so I will take care of her today.
My husband worked on Saturday, so I had all day to myself to work on some Christmas ornaments and to relax.
We had around 170 Halloweeners even if it was rainy and wincy and pandemia.
I have a dinner with my boss Wednesday but if I'm not feeling better I will cancel.
