Decluttering 2023

 Resumé of 2023 decluttering  (will help me stay focused)

Going through old posts and copying here (and looking at my calendar where I write down things)

January 2023

• Papers from Halloween notebook + some Halloween patterns (still have a box of Halloween patterns).
• Papers from work desk
• 4 old pens
• 2 baby spoons
• More Papers from file cabinet
• 2 cardboad boxes that I had kept for crafts
• Will be given to my niece: 6 pillowcases, sticky notepad of New York, 1 frame, 1 set of fairy lights, 1 bag of pastel crayons, 1 beautiful jar, 1 wood canvas 
• 3 small metal buckets brand new to put crayons will be given to ddil for the grandkids
• Apx 30 business cards
• 1 beautiful pot brought from mom but no place so ddil took it... in-and-out
• 1 toaster
• 2 sets of curtains (4 panels)
• 1 tablecloth
• Old wallet / old cards / old receipts
• 1 toy hat
• 2 plastic shelves that are all crooked.. dh made new ones out of wood
• 1 Christmas projector we had brought from mom's (not working well)

February 2023

• 1 plastic shelf
• DH shredded a few inches of papers
• 1 toy ketchup bottle
• 2 magazines from toy stores I had kept for the kids to play with
• 3 children's book will be given back to the free library
• 6 weights - belonged to dd but she does not want them and they don't fit with standard bars.
• 2 tiny glass hearts - given to dd's step-children

• 1 tupperware - will be given to dniece
• 1 tupperware pie bowl - dd took it out of her closet to bring to her house
• 1 camping mat - also dd's taken to her new house
• 1 set of pasta plates - also dd's taken to her new house
• Last week dh took a work chair out of here

March 2023

• Got the big bag I had accumulated for dniece given to her over the weekend
• Cleared a few small bags out of mom's house while she was taking walks (including 12 dvds that I will give in the free library box)
• Finally mil's cane was sold last week

June 2023

• An electronic device given to dh on one of his construction jobs (which we had no idea what to do with) sold on Marketplace

July 2023

• Kway (raincoat) I had since I was 16, but I bought a new one

• 1 plastic truck with wagon that dh had when he was young, was falling to pieces

• 10 music cassettes + 5 empty boxes to recycling
• 2 inches of paper form our trip to disney in 2004

• DH sold 5 boxes of luminaries on Marketplace (they had been on sale for over a year!) and now they are finally out of the basement :)

August 2023

September 2023

November 2023

• Elliptical is finally out of here. DDIL wanted it but dh would not take it over saying they have already too much stuff in their house. told him it's either that or she buys a new one full price... I gave her the one I had. Never used it but had it for free too.
  
  Small vaccum (from my parents that was here), sold on Marketplace but not sure it won't come back as the lady was saying tube was too short? duh it's like that. It's been 5 days... so crossing my fingers it's not coming back.
  
  12 small tubes of paint given to grandkids (came from mom's)
  1 pan (but dh replaced it with a new one)

• 4 kitchen towels (brand new will be given to niece).  I don't like them I find them too thick.
• 2 t-shirts (had bought 3 sweaters on Monday so have to let some go)

Wow! I'm impressed and some stuff did not get put on the list... recycling, mail, small stuff I throw away .

January 2022

• a few things from basement cabinets
• 4 small Christmas decor items
• Oil infuser with reeds (was smelling weird)
• 3 tiered-plastic tray (bought a wood 2-tiered one last week)
• A dymo that was broke
• 3 empty cell boxes and 1 wireless mouse box
• Lots of cardboard I had kept for crafts
• 1 puzzle (with 1 missing piece)
• 2 very old liquor bottles
• My husband burnt a box of old pay slips and filled up recycling box in the kitchen with more papers
• 2 wool hats (will be put in the homeless bag)
• Another old liquor bottle
• 6 empty bottles of pencil leads (combined it all in one)

• Returned mom's 2 tupperware containers by my sister this weekend

February 2022

• 1 BIG metal arm made for computers or monitor ... but really old - dh had picked it up on a job site, never used and never will be used.  It is now gone to recycling.

• 1 singing Christmas stuffed toy (brought here from mom's) - doesn't sing anymore
• 6 sweaters (bought 6 new ones)

• Heart monitor belt - brand new from mom's - don't need this

March 2022

• Hair dryer (but will need to buy another one, this one had sparks flying out)

April 2022

• DH put a bunch of luminaries for sale (7) on Marketplace but for now they are still in the house.  STILL HERE

December 2022

• DH got rid of the old oven

• Big window sold on marketplace... hoping it doesn't come back as the guy called back saying it wasn't what he thought... will lower the price
