Good morning and Happy 32nd birthday to my son Maxime.
I finally got rid of that lingering cough!
Dad - still waiting from answers from oncologist and surgeon.
We went to my parents' on Saturday and left after lunch Sunday. I had brought lunch for Saturday. Dad is not doing so well, lots of nausea and vomiting and feeling dizzy. Mom is less angry but personal hygiene is very complicated. I decluttered more of the bathroom cabinets while there.
We had supper at my brother's house on Saturday. One brother was away at hockey tournament with nephew.
Got to see my sister's new grandbaby for the 2nd time when we went to her house for breakfast (and stayed for lunch) on Sunday. Electricity was out at dad's since 1:45 am on Sunday and came back after lunch.
Stopped by dd's on the way back and had supper with them.
More daycare strikes this week (Monday and Tuesday).
Let's join Sandra at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom . ,

Funny of the week
I'm glad that your cough has finally gone away! I have heard of a lot of people with lingering coughs this past year!
ReplyDeleteI'm keeping your family in prayer. It's so hard as our parents age. My Dad is 81 and although he is doing well (thank you, grateful) there have been a lot of changes in him over the past year. He has his heart procedure to be scheduled soon.
Your week looks busy as usual! Don't forget to take time for yourself :)
Hello dear Lucie!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Maxime!
I"m so glad you got rid of that cough!! Prayers for your folks and their continuing issues. It's so difficult getting older. That video is so cool - I work hard to keep my body moving, especially with my arthritis. Motion is lotion they say. 😉
Love the family pics!!😍 And your funny is hilarious! I can get down with that plan.
I'm so sorry you're dealing with all these issues with your mom and dad, and I'm praying for you dad as he starts treatment. I hate cancer, hate it so much. I'll be praying for your dad. I hope you have a good week regardless ♥
