Good morning
Health: Saw my doctor again last Wednesday. No more infection but I do have inflammation so got drops for that to use when necessary, he says could be allergies. For now better but left eye is hurting especially when I wake up in the morning.
Grandchildren: Had supper and sleptover on Monday.. Xavier had fever for the first part of the night, so was not the best night - he slept ok after 1:00 am. Tuesday grandpa took them to daycare but ds had to pick up Xavier around noon, had a slight fever and threw up. He also stayed home on Wednesday but was feeling much better. Thursday dh picked them up at daycare and they sleptover. They coughed during the night and so did dh... so another fitful night.
Weekend was quite eventful. We left Saturday morning to go to dd's (arrived around 10:00) and to see her stepdaughter's gymnastic class (she is 4), was fun - . Class ended at noon so we went for burgers nearby and then to my uncle's house (got there at 2:00 pm) to go to his sugar shack. Spent the afternoon there, will post pics below. We got to see 2 of my uncles and my aunt. The kids got some maple water from the trees, tried the 4-wheeler and did some horseback riding. Left at 5:30 to go back to dd's. Excellent supper by dd and dsil. We slept there.
Sunday we left dd's after breakfast (around10:00) and went to my dad's cousin sugar shack where we stayed for lunch. His son and stepdaughter were there too and some friends of theirs. we had a nice time. was gray and humid out be we were fine in the shack. Left around 2:15 to get back home. Got home at 4:15, unpacked and kids and grankids arrived right afterwards. Ordered pizza for supper. they left at 6:30.
Nice weekend with lots of family and laughter.
