Happy Homemaker 2023-08-27

Working on this post Sunday night as I don't know when I'll have the time Monday.

This week grandkids came for supper 2 nights as Xavier wanted to ride his bike (they can't in his street too many rocks).  

They also came over on Friday with parents and we went to town outdoor movie special.. except it was raining so was held in townhall.  Not many people but kids had fun.  Lemonade, popcorn and hotdogs all free - we got to see the movie about young buzz lightyear.

Saturday we went to a rodeo in next town.. rain, rain, rain.. we even changed in between the show and the rodeo.  It was nice though.

Sunday was housechores in the morning and reading outside in the afternoon... beautiful weather, sunny and not too hot.

I want to take down the summer decor and put up Fall decor.  Love the Fall colors

Grandkids starting new daycare this week - hope all goes well.  This is a big place with longer hours and replacements.  They should each be with children their age which will be good for them.

  • Laundry (had tons to wash as we got all wet at rodeo, even coming home to change in between show and rodeo)
  • Vac main floor
  • Wash main bathroom
  • Prep this post
  • Shorten new curtain for front door window (now we can finally block the morning light when we want to sleep later).  Still have voilage for during the day.
Monday
  • 9:15 appointment in main town (over 1 hour drive) with dh to get our shoe orthesis
  • Errands
  • Pay cell phone bill
  • ?

  • 1 bra
  • 1 tootbrush
  • 1 tablecloth
  • 1 dishtowel

    It sounds like you had a fun and busy weekend! I am glad you enjoyed yourself! I LOVE that watercolor painting, you're very talented! I'm with you, I am SO ready to put up my summer and get out my fall decor, but its still so so hot outside! I hope you have a lovely week!
