Happy Homemaker 2022-09-12

Good morning!  

2 days telework and 2 days in the office last week.  On Wednesday (during my lunch break) I went out and bought myself some new glasses (will get them in 3 weeks), bought a pack of cookies to leave in the community fridge for the homeless, saw some blinds for dd (which dh had to pick up next day).  Sold dd's LR table on marketplace (turns out it was one of our friends who took it)

Last weekend we went to a music show with my son and his girlfriend.  Grandkids were at the other grandpa's house.  We had supper in town too... was on a terrace outside but had to go eat inside as ddil was having a fit with the wasps around her.  In fact, she knocked her full wine glass off the table.. and unto me!  ah well at least it was white wine so it dried before we got to the show.

The front of the house is finished and paid for.  Now we just have to replant a few things out there.  DH is doing that today even though it is very hot and humid.  can't wait for it all to be done so he can wash the front of the house and windows and be ready for Fall.  I think he wants to repaint the small porch space and he needs to put in 2 stairs.

I did nothing in the house this weekent, just too hot!

Looks like the hot and humid weather we are having will be a thing of the past... Fall is a-coming!

On my mind 

Our Canadian Thanksgiving... we were talking of a 4-day trip to Chicago... but people around us are thinking we should have a family gathering.. need to discuss this with my husband.

Upcoming this week

We found three 84 inch black alternate blinds for dd's appartment on sale so we will have to go install them at her appartment at some point.

She came back from Barcelona Saturday , have not talked to her yet but looks like she had a fantastic trip.

• Prep for work tomorrow
• Schedule all new shows 
• Doctor's follow-up appointment at 9:15 for hormones.. all is fine.
• Received a few Amazon orders, have to return a few things though :(

Decluttering

• 8 baby toys
• 1 water hose
• 1 child hat
• Expired medication

To relax this week or In my crafting basket 

I think just picking up and feeling the Fall weather will be my relaxation.
