Hello!
Loads and loads of changes at work. This week will be the 1st time (Wednesday the 23rd) that I will work at the office in 2 years and we no longer have OUR desk, we share in another area. Parking will be 1st come basis, so I will be going in quite early unless DH spends the day in town - he does have an appointment for his ears but a whole day is long. Next week I did not say I would go in but we are on strike 1 day - March 30th.. sigh. We will start 2 days a week on the week of April 4th mandatory.
I took last Friday afternoon off before they pay me up all my sick days I had accumulated in 20 years. We cannot accumulate anymore so they will be paid off... sigh... I had 60 days... wanted to used them up for retirement but rules have changed.
So Friday afternoon I did more spring cleaning, followed by groceries and McD's for supper.
Saturday we had our little Xavier with us. Anne-E was at her other grandma's house. Kids went to an afternoon show with a humorist. Saturday night we had supper at sil's with Xavier and he slept over (he joined us in the big bed around 2:00 am.. - I think he is dreaming as he would cry out but fall back asleep when he saw he was snuggled next to me). DH drove him back home around 9:00 Sunday as they had friends with kids coming over.
Sunday was housechores in the morning and made 3 watercolor cards for Easter in the afternoon. Dh went to a hockey game with neighbor.
Good news, dh says ddil told him they would be coming with us for Easter at my parent's house. :)

ReplyDeleteHi Lucie!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about the back to work stuff. And the sick days - no fair! I pray it will all go well in the days ahead. So happy your DIL came around about Easter!! 😊 Good for your trying less sugar diet. I'm trying to be better too. With my arthritis I can tell it gives inflammation.
Love your pics and your funny! ;) The cards you made are beautiful. 😍
Love the funny! Sorry to hear that work is so stressful with all the changes and new rules - what a pain. I hope it works out better than you expect. Glad your spring cleaning is going so well. Have a great rest of the week.
ReplyDeleteHope your first day back at work went well. Isn't it just incredible how much life has changed from two years ago to now? Crazy!!!
ReplyDeleteAs for your comment on my blog, I've mentioned before that we are in the process of selling my mother in law's house. She left it to my husband and his brother, and they're selling it. I'm not selling my house, I've moved so much that I refuse to move again hahaha
Have a wonderful week.
I empathize with your work situation. I can tell it's frustrating for you. Glad the family will all be together for Easter. Great funny at the end of your post!
