Happy Homemaker 2022-01-22

Good morning!

We had a cold week (with lots of snow also on 2 days).  I'm starting this post on Saturday and it was -26C and with winchill -34C this morning! brrrr.  We did take small walks every day even though it was very cold.  This morning, Monday it's the same!  sooo cold.

We were to babysit the grandkids last Wednesday BUT the covid in daycare on Monday so they were kept home all week.  Thursday Anne-Elizabeth had symptoms and tested positive, she is coughing, some labored breathing and just an unhappy baby.  Seems better today.

Saturday daughter-in-law also tested positive on at-home test.  My son tested positive on Sunday.  So we won't be seeing them this weekend and probably next weekend too.  My husband did their groceries and errands and dropped them off outside at their house.  They teleworked all week by turns while taking care of the kids.

My husband has been going through his things in the basement and organizing (not getting rid of alot though :( )  He has been doing things we have been procrastinating on, so it's nice!

2 cw's in our team were sick this week too but we are in virtual so no virus' there.  Not sure if they have covid or not.

Let's join Sandra at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom .

  3. Hi dear Friend!
Covid is sure everywhere! I'm suffering myself and so ready to be done with it! I'm so sorry so many of your loved ones are suffering with it right now. Ugh!! I pray everyone feels better soon.
You are such a wonderful painter. That painting looks whimsical - like an illustration for a children's book. Just beautiful.
And amen on your inspiration! Stay cozy and well. xo
