Happy Homemaker 2022-01-10

Good morning!

Back to telework last Wednesday, was a slow week as lots of people were on vacation - which was fine by me.  

Thursday we went for our booster shots, and then dh got some glasses at Costco.  Delivered some bags to the homeless (one man was not happy he said he wanted food - I had put socks, toothbrush, toothpaste, gloves and a granola bar - told him there was a granola bar and he answered he couldn't do anything with that as he had no teeth), had an exchange at Winners and did a few more errands.

DH babysat grandkids on Friday (daycare was closed), but of course I was there to help.  Xavier stayed over Friday night and left before supper on Saturday.  Sunday was picking up and prepping meals for Monday as we are babysitting (daycare is unavailable).

Gonna be a cold week

Covid cases going up everywhere.
My cousin's son is having health problems and they are not finding what he has for now.
Have to go to my parent's house to help declutter as soon as we can... for now we cannot visit anyone because of COVID.

    Love the funny at the end of your post :) Sorry to read cases are going up in your area as well. Around here they think it will peak around the end of January, then go back down again. I sure hope so. Have a wonderful week!
