Happy Homemaker 2020-11-02

Good morning!

My husband bought a new 75 inch tv last week - he is prepping for retirement next year .  We don't have a tv cabinet to put it on , so for now our dining room table is being used... and in the dining room we have a folding table!  Men! ;)

My daughter came by this weekend (got her snowtires on her car) and sleptover on Friday night as well as Xavier, so she could get to see him as much as possible.  She did not want to bring her Christmas stuff... she says she doesn't have time :(

My daughter in law bought her Christmas tree and some decor on Friday and she  put it all up Friday night.  On Saturday her dad went and put up all exterior lights - she is done with her Christmas decorating.

Saturday my son had brought 60 bags of candy to give here (only 10 pass where he lives and they had gone in the afternoon).  Since he had ddil's family for supper I gave them out.  My husband made a candy chute.  We only had 48 come by.

My husband finally finished the outside of my son's garage.  Now he only has to put away the scaffolding.

Let's join Sandra at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom .

Quote of the week

  1. Hey Sweetie!
I hope your aches and pains feel better soon. I love your "men" comment about your hubby...gave me a giggle. 😂
Sounds like it was a nice Halloween. I love that you guys had a chute, that's awesome! I just can't decorate for Christmas until thanksgiving is done. I listen to Xmas music and shop and wrap etc. But just wait to put up tree and decorate. Love your funny inspiration as always! Have a great week. xoxo

  2. Wow did you take a pic of the candy shoot. That was a lot of kids to me! I enjoyed coming by for HHM. Come by and see my post. I have a link party over on my Sunday post.

  3. LMBO at your inspiration - definitely need CHOCOLATE! The TV sounds like something my husband would do too - too funny, your right about MEN! I hope you're having a GREAT week.

  4. That seems like a lot of kiddos to come by to me. Not quite ready to decorate for Christmas although I know early decorating seems to be the "in" thing this year. Makes perfect sense that lack of chocolate did in the dinosaurs, LOL. Hope the rest of your week is wonderful!

  5. See you tomorrow for HHM. Come over at link at the Fabulous Party!
