Last Friday we had some very cold temperatures... staying inside was the best thing to do.

How I am feeling this morning
My achilles tendon has been hurting for a month... thinking I will take a week off gym and let it rest to see if it makes a difference.  In the meantime will do the automassages and icing as found on youtube.
My chest seems to be infected and I've got a little cough... yuck!
And of course I'm still having hot flashes
Ain't life grand?
On the other hand my grandson will be here in about 1 hour and that is what I am looking forward to today :)

On my mind
2nd week my daughter is down with a cold and coughing.  Hoping it passes by quickly.
Thinking about some govt exams I have to go take next Sunday - yuck!  it's for my work.

On the breakfast plate
Had some rye toasts this morning (2 with marmelade and 1 with mustard) and a mint tea.

On my reading pile

La Santé repensée de Dr. Gaétan Brouillard
The testaments by Margaret Atwood - Finished it - I liked that one much more than the 1st one.
Pandémie  - Robin Cook

On my tv

Les Américains (Season 6)
Cerebrum (Saison 1)
Bull (Saison 1)
Walking Dead (Season 7)
L'Échappée
La fugeuse (Saison 2)
L'heure Bleue (Saison 4)
Épidémie (Saison 1)
Léo (Saison 1)
Le Bon Docteur (Saison 2)

Looking around the house
Looks in order mostly but I do want to continue decluttering.  Need to take down Valentine's decor and put up St-Pat's decor.

On my to-do list (chores)

Saturday
Vaccumed main floor, dusted main floor (still have to do LR), washed woodwork and walls in hallway and kitchen, laundry, washed my bedding and remade bed,

Sunday
Baked muffins, made millet cream for my breakfasts, made some overnight oats, cooked chicken, menu-planned.  Dishes. Laundry. Didn't do much as I had a headache and my achilles's tendon has been hurting for a month ... just feeling blah.
    Monday
    • Post here - DONE
    • Prep work clothes - DONE
    • Knit
    • Babysit my grandson as daughter in law has to go to town
    • A relaxing day....
To relax this week, I will
Knit, watch series and drink tea
Noon paint class on Tuesday.  Wednesday is a conference for heart-health at noon at work.

    Sending positive vibes to
All in need - especially to my friend and colleague Danie, going through her 5th cancer :(  Only 52 (brain, breast, bones, and 2 lungs).

    1. Sorry to hear about your mom's diagnosis - that is NEVER an easy one to hear. I've caretaked for SEVERAL family members over the last decade with it and I will NEVER understand that disease. I hope your mom has the "gentle" version - keeping you all in my prayers.

I LOVE your pictures - so cute! The expression on the dog's face is a perfect capture! Have fun with your grandson today and have a GREAT week.

    2. Busy week over there. Hope everyone gets healthy! Prayers for your friend, that's a lot and at a young age. I thought the second Atwood book was better than the first one as well. Still need to get around to watching the series on Hulu at some point. Hope you have a wonderful week!

    4. Sorry to hear about the diagnosis concerning your mom. That's what we've been going through on this end with Pat, so I understand what you're going through and I am praying over all. Lovely pics and blessings for the week ahead! <3

    5. Aren't hot flashes just the BEST? lol Just started having them myself. Sorry about your mom's diagnosis, I'm sure that has to be hard. My grandmother had Alzheimer's for many years.
