Happy Homemaker 2019-11-18

Hello :)

Last Monday we went used-car shopping for my daughter and she found one.  Finally seems she will get an amount for insurance so that will help her out (it was a rental).

At work it is official I will be going back to my other team next week (moving my desk), will go back with the girls which is good.  Starting to have lots more to do.
Thursday we ran some errands after work (so I won't be going Monday as was my intention - hate going shopping nowadays.  Used to love it when I was younger)
Took Friday off because I had an osteopathe appointment.

My sis quit her job this week and she will be starting her new job in January (better pay and work from home) - nice!

Mom is feeling better - she has been sick last 3 weeks with 3 different kinds of antibiotics.

Put up the Christmas tree during the weekend, housechores and a bit of baking.

Let's join Sandra at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom

Right now
Just finished breakfast.  Had early exams at the hospital so couldn't drink or eat before.  Having a cup of hot chocolate, writing this post and listening to Christmas music on Stingray.

  1. Sounds like you've got a busy week ahead, Lucy. I'm hoping to find time to get my tree up this week, too. We shall see. Blessings for a great week ahead! <3

  2. Love the color of your daughter's new car. Makes me think of the very first car I bought in "fire engine red" LOL! Now, I drive a generic gray car. You sound pretty busy over there, hope you get everything done and have a wonderful week ahead!

  3. HA HA your inspiration is SPOT on! I love the murals from Gatineau. I also wish I read French - your TV list always looks so intriguing. I'm working on the Christmas cards too - our Thanksgiving here in the states is so late this year and with us traveling over it my whole Christmas schedule is getting thrown off! Have a WONDERFUL week.

  10. This is my first time visiting your blog and I enjoyed your Happy Homemaker answers. I love the artwork and I am thankful that your daughter got a car. I will say I am thrilled that it is not quite that cold here.
