Last Monday we went used-car shopping for my daughter and she found one. Finally seems she will get an amount for insurance so that will help her out (it was a rental).
At work it is official I will be going back to my other team next week (moving my desk), will go back with the girls which is good. Starting to have lots more to do.
Thursday we ran some errands after work (so I won't be going Monday as was my intention - hate going shopping nowadays. Used to love it when I was younger)
Took Friday off because I had an osteopathe appointment.
My sis quit her job this week and she will be starting her new job in January (better pay and work from home) - nice!
Mom is feeling better - she has been sick last 3 weeks with 3 different kinds of antibiotics.
Put up the Christmas tree during the weekend, housechores and a bit of baking.

Right now
Just finished breakfast. Had early exams at the hospital so couldn't drink or eat before. Having a cup of hot chocolate, writing this post and listening to Christmas music on Stingray.

Last week we had lots of snow and then cold temperatures (broke some cold temperature records)... it felt like January!
This week should be more 'normal' temperatures for this time of year.

Sounds like you've got a busy week ahead, Lucy. I'm hoping to find time to get my tree up this week, too. We shall see. Blessings for a great week ahead! <3
ReplyDeleteLove the color of your daughter's new car. Makes me think of the very first car I bought in "fire engine red" LOL! Now, I drive a generic gray car. You sound pretty busy over there, hope you get everything done and have a wonderful week ahead!
ReplyDeleteHA HA your inspiration is SPOT on! I love the murals from Gatineau. I also wish I read French - your TV list always looks so intriguing. I'm working on the Christmas cards too - our Thanksgiving here in the states is so late this year and with us traveling over it my whole Christmas schedule is getting thrown off! Have a WONDERFUL week.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your daughter on the new car and your sis on the new job! I'm so done with the cold weather, but loving the christmas movies and music :)
ReplyDeleteI love that quote, too funny! That artwork is gorgeous, and your menu sounds super yummy! I hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteYour to do list is a busy one! What a pretty car! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYou've got one busy week planned.. I would love to get my tree up this week!!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of starting to address my Christmas Cards. Glad I'm not the only one getting a step ahead :) Have a great week!

You have been very productive! Hooray on finding a car - and it's cute! Congrats to your sis. So nice to work from home.
ReplyDeleteI love the art!
This is my first time visiting your blog and I enjoyed your Happy Homemaker answers. I love the artwork and I am thankful that your daughter got a car. I will say I am thrilled that it is not quite that cold here.
ReplyDeleteVery productive! My tree is up and my cards are basically done. Waiting to see how pictures will turn out and if I will get prints made to send out.
