Good morning
Have found my phrase for the year (was hesitating between planning, accepting and change), so went to IA and with some tweaking came up with this (retirement is now in my plans possibly for the end of the year).
Preparing gently, living fully:
Planning what comes next without putting life on hold, and allowing this season to be lived as it is.
Last week was a slow telework week (had taken Tuesday afternoon off and worked from home the rest of the week - didn't go to town). Managed to do some papers and stuff around the house too.
DH picked up grandkids from school and daycare Thursday and they had supper here.
Weekend was a quiet one. DH went to twin nephew's hockey game Friday afternoon and another hockey game Saturday night with neighbor. So Saturday night and went and chatted with neighbor's wife in the evening while the guys were at hockey... with winter we don't see each other as much (in summer we often sit outside together).
Sunday was nice so we took a walk in the afternoon then sat outside with neighbor and had some hot chocolate with our winter gear on.
Let's join Sandra at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom
Had 4 inches of snow Saturday during the night (and Friday we had rain!)
