Happy Homemaker 2026-01-05

Happy New year!

Looking foward to this new year - lots of changes to come... possibly retirement?

The 2-week vacation (was it a vacation?? nope too tiring) was fine, lots of running around and family.

Yesterday was spent picking up and cleaning and putting away Christmas.  Still have a few small things to do but practically back to my 'normal'.. time to get back into routines.

Let's join Sandra at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom

Finally some warmer weather!  It was so cold during our vacations.

Looking around the house

Looking fine... a bit bare without the Christmas decorations but I did keep a few things out that represented winter and some fairy lights.

Thinking and pondering

It was a very tiring period for me and dh.. we always had something to do, might be time to let the younger ones do the hosting for all, we can help bring food and set up instead.

    2. Loved looking through your photos, looks like a fun time :) I too like to leave up some twinkly lights after Christmas, makes the house more cosy.
