Happy Homemaker 2023-12-18

 Good morning

Thursday we delivered last of handmade ornaments to friends.  We stayed there until 11:00 pm.. yikes!

Friday, after supper with grandkids, we went to neighbors for a chat and came back at 9:00 pm 

We are in the last stretch before Christmas.  This week my in-town work day is Thursday.  We will order some chicken with the girls and play some games in the afternoon.

Friday is a holiday.  DH will make the pea soup to take to dd's and Saturday he will pick up tourtière from his aunt to take to dd's.  Lots of stuff to prep to take to dd's.

NY's Eve will be at my sister's this year, it was just decided today.  My brother is going with friends so he will not be hosting.

Sis spent some time at mom's on Sunday cleaning out 2 cupboards and fridge while parents were at a funeral.

All is ready for Christmas, just maintenance.

Getting ready to go to dd's on the 23rd and 24th.  coming back after breakfast on the 25th.

• Vac main floor
• Wash main bathroom
• Watched a painting tutorial but did not do it, not enough time to enjoy it.
• Rice krispie squares (froze them)

This week

• Add stuff to bag for my niece... she likes crafting so I'll declutter some stuff
• Laundry
• Call cable company (might procrastinate on that one.. HATE, HATE, HATE it)
• Make a soup to use up veggies in fridge
• Prep for upcoming Christmas - lots of stuff to bring to dd's

Decluttering 

• Winter boots
• 4 kitchen towels (brand new will be given to niece).  I don't like them I find them too thick.
• 2 t-shirts (had bought 3 sweaters on Monday so have to let some go)
• 2 sweaters
• 1 felt tip pen
• 1 bottle of used purrell... all yucky and yellow and stinks!
