Happy Homemaker 2021-03-08

Bon matin!

Not much was accomplished in the housechores last week.  Had an intense week of telework.

Friday night Xavier came to sleep over.  His mom came around noon on Saturday and they left at 3:30 in the afternoon.  I vac'd main floor and washed main bathroom after they left.  did some laundry.

Sunday my husband picked up Xavier around 9:00 and did the groceries with him.  His parents came by around 3:00 and we transfered a single twin bed from our basement to Xavier's bedroom.  We had supper with them at their house.

Today we are changing from a red zone to an orange zone,... meaning restaurants are opening up (with lots of restrictions) and only 2 people from the same address per table (except for you children), gyms are opening up and our curfew is now 9:30 instead of 8.

Let's join Sandra at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom .

  1. Oh my! I'm so glad your brother wasn't injured in this accident, it looks horrific. The babies' room is so cute! I love the bright colors and the use of shapes on the walls. Happy news that your restrictions are lifting. Here in AZ we're at 100% capacity allowed at all businesses. Fortunately we never had curfews (well, maybe for a week or so way back. I really can't remember) I had to laugh at your comment about clearing some stuff when your husband is busy elsewhere. I have the same issue with mine!

  3. Hi Lucie!
Oh my gosh - my heart stopped when I saw that mishap photo. Thank the Lord everyone was okay!!
It's nice to hear they're lifting more restrictions and with vaccinations hopefully the world will get more and more normal. Love the room for the kiddos - so bright and fun!!
Thank you also for your friendship and support these rough past few weeks. It means so much to me. 🙏 Blessings. xo

  4. Glad your brother wasn't hurt, that looks pretty scary from the pictures. Cute baby's room design. I was in the mood to declutter early in the month but kind of lost my motivation, hoping it comes back as I have lots to do. Have a great rest of your week!
