Happy Homemaker 2021-03-01

 Bon matin!

What a week it was!  Monday had an osteo appointment and got stuck with my truck in the trail that leads to her house, luckily some nice men stopped and got me out of there with the help of my son.
Thursday had an esthetician appointment.

Friday my brother and sister-in-law came for lunch as well as my daugter-in-law and Xavier.  My son came to say hi to them for a few minutes.  So Xavier stayed here from Friday noon and left after supper on Sunday.  They were repainting his room (so that his baby sister can be in the same room as him when she comes).  My husband spent the weekend there painting and he assembled a commode also.  They came over for the meals in between the painting.  My husband did say that daughter-in-law really worked hard with him.. she is getting quite big!

I did manage to deep-clean and reorganize my main floor pantry and to dust everywhere.  Made 3 small pans of cabbage rolls (1 small one I gave to my son), 1 to freeze and 1 for this week.

Let's join Sandra at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom .

  1. Are you guys having rolling blackouts? Some states down here had them a few weeks ago. They were unscheduled, so it was hard for my DIL to work from home when the electricity would go out suddenly. Stay warm!

  2. No they are not rolling blackouts but they need to make some repairs on the system. We are to have a night of freezing cold - so glad we have propane fireplace in the living room.

  3. I love having things organized. I just don't always like the actual task of organizing! lol

  5. Hello my Friend. Hope the blackout stuff goes okay! We actually had a blackout here over the weekend for a short while. The kids and I took advantage and made it fun. 6. Glad you had help getting your car unstuck, that doesn't sound fun. Hope your time without power went by without a hitch and all is back to normal now. Have a wonderful rest of your week!
