Happy Homemaker 2021-02-22

Bon matin!

Last week I managed to wash basement pantry and defrosted the freezer, washed it and loaded it back up.  Also washed main bathroom and did lots of laundry.

I also had my 1st haircut appointment since last October, it sure makes a big difference.  Have a new hairdresser as mine moved away.  I was just so happy to see someone and chat that I did not pay attention to what she was doing and when I got home...oh my ... she had made a brushing with a bob at the back of the head... looked like an old lady.  I washed it right away and it is fine now.  Next time I'll tell her no bob, no brushing, no spray net.

Kids went to the aquarium on Saturday and seems Xavier enjoyed it all.  He spent Saturday night here and Sunday.  We went over to their place for pizza on Saturday.  My husband helped my son move his old dryer out and took it to recycling.  They will be getting a new one Wednesday.  

We took a long walk Sunday morning with Xavier all bundled up in his slay - that child sure loves to go outside.  It was sunny and no wind... a bit cold (-10C) but fine.  While he napped Sunday afternoon I shoveled a bit off the patio to set down a chair and read a little in the sun until the wind started up.

Busy weeks ahead for telework.  Hoping all family is good since we don't see anyone.

Not too bad this morning but I want to declutter and reorganize more.  Been looking at videos of new ideas for organizing.

Crochet baby blanket - NOT enough yarn so will let that go.  Trying to find something else - maybe a diaper cover as I bought rabbit years and tail.. would make a nice baby prop picture.
