Happy Homemaker 2026-06-08

Goodmorning

I am sad to say mom passed away last Wednesday.  She will stay in our hearts forever.  She did get to see us (4 children) at the same time and I think it was what she was waiting for.  The home she was in they gave her good care and were very nice.

Me and sis did all we could afterwards to prep for funeral but the meeting at funeral parlor is only this morning (they did not have time before that), so my brother will be going with her.  We spent lots of time with family while we were in town.  UPDATE:  sis just texted to say the funeral will be THIS upcoming weekend, so that changes my week.

Got back home Thursday around 5:00 pm.

Friday was errands and then we went to help ds and ddil move some stuff as they got their house on Friday morning.

Saturday was really sore frome all the moving help we gave.  We went back in the morning but I opted to stay home in the afternoon - the movers had moved the big stuff in the morning.  and they had 2 friends to help in the afternoon to put stuff away.  they will do the rest this week as they took a week off and have a week to finish emptying the other house.

Sunday was a more quiet day but did absolutely nothing.

Darn I crushed my post from may 27 (grrrrr... tried lots of things but can't recuperate)

It is fine, had cleanded before leaving so just oridnary things to keep up with.
