Happy Homemaker 2025-02-22

Good morning

Winter Olympicas are over, congrats to all the athletes who worked hard to get there.

Work: 1 cw is coming back to work Thursday from spending a year in China to take care of her parents, no idea how all went as she is very discreet and did not give news during that time.  A new cw will be joining us beginning of March.

Grandkids did not come by this week but we saw them at Xavier's hockey game Sunday morning.

Wednesday took the afternoon off work to go see Titanic exhibition with neighbors followed by supper at restaurant.  Was a very nice afternoon.  

Saturday was some housechores.  Sunday was Xavier's hockey, Olympic hockey and whole lot of nothing.

Mostly picked up, still hesitating about doing the deep spring cleaning in case dh decides to start some renovations.

Thinking and pondering
Lots of things I want to do but will have to wait until I retire... like in my office... 2 large monitors, keyboard, mouse, portable need to be sent back to the office and then I want to get rid of the BIG old desk... hummm now what do I want this room to become after?

      It's afternoon here now, so I'll just say hello.
      Well, I think I'd wait with the cleaning until you know what your husband decides about the renovations.
      What a beautiful watercolor you made, and not to forget the photos of the museum.

      I hope a returning and new coworker help make your work life better and easier too. I went to a Titanic exposition several years ago too. I'm always in awe of how much influence that tragedy has had over us. Have a wonderful week!

      Hello lovely Lucie! That exposition looks like it was really cool. I loved that movie so much. So sorry about the U.S. taking gold but what a game, huh? Both teams played amazing!! It's always a letdown when the Olympics are over - we loved watching them. It's fun to dream on retirement and a new space, isn't it? It will be fun to see what you do. Your watercolor frogs are adorable!! Blessings xo

      Hi, Lucie! I keep meaning to tell you that I love that cup that's at the top of your blog. It's gorgeous! I signed up for Tai Chi classes and they start this evening! I did it for a little while a couple of years ago, but never regularly. Have a wonderful week!
