Welcome November
Recap of last week
Tuesday was in-town work. Rest of the week teleworking. Thursday afternoon I took off to go see eye-specialist at hospital. All is ok with my eye it will just have floaters in it, can't be fixed, it is what it is. Then dh went for his cell phone AGAIN, this time we had a young man, 15 minutes and now it works! Stopped by sewing lady to get jeans hemmed for me.
DH did volunteer work for town to get the Halloween activity ready for the youngsters (Thursday morning and Friday afternoon and evening).
We had 138 Halloweeners even though it rained. Less than last year but temperature was not very nice.
Saturday was housechores and putting away Halloween.
Sunday dh worked at the municipal elections. Drove dh to the election site at town hall, then went to arena for Xavier's hockey practice and to take care of Anne-E during the skating. Brought Anne-E back with me.

Happy November dear Lucie! I pray they get your eye situation figured out and it heals up for you. You sure did a lot of wonderful decluttering! I'm still working on those things. Love the Halloween pics -you are all adorable! So thankful for you Friend in this month of gratitude wanted to share that. xoxo
ReplyDelete138 kids for Halloween - that is a great number! We don't get any here in the city. How is your eye doing? The same thing happened to my dad not too long ago. It took several appointments, but he is doing really well now! Great job on the decluttering! I am moving at a snail's pace still! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your funny! That's a great number for Halloween kids in the rain. Ours was only around 100 and while it was cold here, it was dry.
ReplyDeleteHappy November and I love your restraint on waiting to until mid month to put up Christmas decorations.
Hubby had the same thing with his eye and he HATES the floaters, but considering how bad it could have been he said the same thing - IT IS WHAT IT IS. Keeping you in my prayers.
I did 2 carloads of donations today and will be taking some Levis, flannel shirts and jackets to a friend tomorrow for her at risk students.
Have a WONDERFUL week.
You did great with decluttering this week! I need to get in our attic and declutter some of the stuff up there- its always out of sight, out of mind, but another one of those things that I keep worrying about even if I can't see it lol.
ReplyDeleteI bet your hot cocoa bar is pretty! I'm ready for Christmas to be up, just not ready to do the decorating part lol!
It was nice to catch up ! Hope your first week in November is great!
