Good morning
Been very busy last few weeks and last Monday I stayed 1 day more at my parent's house because they finally move my mom from hospital to an assisted- living home and sis was away on vacation.. so I took the relay since I was there anyways for my cousin's 60th bday on the Saturday.
Mom situation: When we saw her Saturday the 5th at hospital, it was horrible, didn't eat / drink / move / could hardly talk .. they had drugged her alot so they could move her to another floor...I felt like I was seeing dad in his last few days with us. I think 1 more week there would've done her in...Monday she moved to a new place... wow... day and night... we got there she was sitting in a chair and drinking an apple juice. They washed her, dressed her. we signed papers and put pictures up on her walls - and she was awake and talked (doesn't all make sense but that's the way it is with Alzheimer). Glad she got her room in that place and it's near brothers and sis.
I managed to dust and vac parent's house while we were there and got rid of a few things more.
This weekend was outside cinema with grandkids... so many mosquitos! Then Saturday we took them to a Color festival.. diversity of people... they had fun and it was very pleasant.
DS and ddil are on vacation for 2 weeks and this week they will be away a few days with the grandkids (zoo, watervillage, etc...)
My vacation starts after work Friday the 18th for 2 weeks... nothing planned.

Good morning! So happy for you to be less stressed in having your mom in a better living situation - I hope she thrives there. Alzheimers is such an unpredictable disease and each person reacts so differently. I pray your mom is like my aunt was and she remains happy. The grandkids are getting so big! Cute pictures. Have a great week Lucie.
