Good morning
Had sore throat and coughing all last week, still today but it is better. I teleworked last Tuesday instead of going to town but I will have to go in tomorrow. It's mornings and evenings that are the worst now.
We had grandkids on Thursday night with Anne-E sleeping over. Xavier went to sleep with his dad as he could not sleep with grandma too much coughing. DS did take him back for breakfast Friday morning and dh drove them to daycare afterwards.
Saturday was ds' birthday so we had the grandkids for supper and to sleepover and to give ds a night off. dh bought a some summer tires on Marketplace and sold some veneer planks (9) so we drove to town to get the tires dand deliver the planks. Had lunch there and then a few errands at costco's. Grandkids arrived for supper. We went for McD's with them for ice cream afterwards but they didn't eat much. However we had told the kids to remind us to buy milk on our way back... of course we forgot about it but as we were pulling up in the driveway Anne-E said no not here... we have to go get milk! hahaha a bit late but she has a better memory than us, so back we went for milk (she will be 3 y-old on April 17).
Sunday dh took the kids to the park (was nice out even though a bit windy) almost 2 hours. Then we went to the dollarstore because Xavier wanted to buy his dad a present... so since his dad LIKES dinosaurs and Legos he and Anne-E each chose one. hahaha Parents arrived around 2:30. Was sunny outside so we sat on the patio for awhile. Then the guys went back to the park with grandkids, while I prepped a few things for supper. We had bought sushis, beef tournedos and a tuxedo chocolate cake at costco's for ds' bday. They left after the grandkids bath around 6:30. Xavier wanted to stay he says he misses grandma - such a sweetheart.
Today is picking up as a tornado went through the house this weekend 😜 and we will be seeing a partial eclipse - I do not have those glasses (none to be had anywhere this weekend), but dh just said the neighbor has a pair for me, yay! A lovely spring day of 15C with sunshine and not much wind today. So I will be staying inside to pick up this am and this afternoon will go work outside.

LOVE your funny! Little ones do seem like a tornado most of the time. I started spring cleaning so it looks like a tornado happened here also. We weren't in the eclipse path here and it was cloudy anyway, but I did enjoy seeing it on TV. I hope you feel better and have a WONDERFUL week.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your son's birthday!
