Happy Canadian Thanksgiving
Got my new glasses - I like them! and people notice and saw they are very nice without my telling anyone.
Was called in by dentist last Monday for a root canal (she had a cancellation), so have to be careful not to fracture my front tooth until all is done in a few more appointments.
Last week daycare was closed on Tuesday and on Friday. Grandpa babysat on Tuesday. Then Thursday night ddil was working and ds had his 1st hockeygame of the season so ds came here with them after supper and they slept here. He came back to sleep with them on Thursday night. Friday they stayed with parents while they teleworked.
I had Friday off, picked up everywhere, dusted, vac'd and washed bathroom so dd & new friend could come to sleep here on Saturday night. Friday afternoon left here at 4:00 to go to the cottage we had rented with family. Brother (steph) and girlfriend (M-Ève) arrived at 6:30 and then sis, bil and parents arrived around 8:00 pm. We had supper there with my brother before the others arrived (they ate on their way there). My other brother (Éric), sil, and 2 children arrived on Saturday around 11:00 am.
Weekend filled with chatting, laughter and family time and GORGEOUS leaves. DD and her new friend arrived Saturday around 2:00 pm and had supper with us. they left later in the evening. DS, ddil & grandkids arrived on Sunday around 4:00 pm and left in the evening. Xavier spent the night with us and had fun as everyone was playing with him.
We left the cottage today and got home around 10:30 am with Xavier. The others had 3:30 hours to get back home but a 40 minute drive for us.
