Happy Homemaker 2022-07-03

Good morning 

My aunt died on Tuesday with aid to death :( so sad she was under 70 years old.  There will be nothing for her passing.

I had some posts to put up in our Christmas group for CIJ days 1 to 3... and of course my Office (word) stopped working... need to repay if I want to use it again.  Yay for printscreens!

A whirlwind weekend!  We had a 4 day weekend as Friday was Canada day.  So Friday we picked up around the house (dh outside and me inside). Sis & bil arrived with their motorbikes around 3:00 pm.  We then all went to ds's house for supper so they could see the grandkids and came back here around 7:00.

Saturday we left around 10:00 to go see the new dock, followed by lunch at a fast-food joint on Ile-d'Orleans, then on to town we went for a music show at 2:00 pm Rock of Ages - fantastic!  we then had a drink in an outdoor terrace with a musician playing some nice soft songs.  Then we had supper at Les Frères de la Côte - very good.  I had the salmon tartare.  After that we went around town to see the art works / Les passages insolites - not their best year though.  Then we went near the marina and saw ddil's dad so he told us to get onboard his boat and he gave us a ride and the guys had a few drinks.  When we finally got back to the dock it was past midnight and he took out some champagne for a toast to our grankids...we left at 1:15 am.. and then back up the hill to go get our car in the parking and get back home... we went to bed at 2:45 am!!!  wayyyyy toooo late.

Sunday sis and bil left after breakfast around 10:30.  DDIL had gone to town for some errands so we went to ds' house from 11:00 to 1:00 to see grandkids.  did NOTHING all day.  Supper was at pizza joint with sil & bil.

Have been having some pain in my chest for last 3 days when coughing but I did covid test and not it... might just be a pulled muscle.

Just tired from the weekend and woke up with a sore back.  ouch! hoping it goes away as I start moving.

Another big weekend coming up with a party on Saturday (all day! ) and probably breakfast with family in town on Sunday.
