Christmas in July day 4 / Noël en juillet jour 4 2014

CIJ day 4 / jour 4

Ornaments made with things found in nature.. pinecones, walnuts, dried flowers or herbs. I always add pinecones tired with a ribbon to my tree. Dried flowers & herbs can be deposited on the tree branches.
Des décorations faites avec des choses trouvées dans la nature… cocottes, noix, fleurs et herbes sechés. D’ailleurs je mets toujours des cocottes dans mon arbre. On peut juste déposer les fleurs et les herbes à travers les branches du sapin.

  1. They are cute. My grandma use to make different ornaments out of walnut shells.

  2. Such fun ideas, Luludou! I have one of those "Mouse in a Walnut Shell" ornaments that my mother made. Another fun way to use a walnut shell is to add a little fiberfill just as a puffy, pretty background and then glue in a small Christmas figure like a Santa or an angel. I have seen some of these and they are very cute.
