Good morning
Vacations are over. Went back to work Wednesday, at least these 3 days were telework not in-town so that's a crumb of consolation. I got answers for the job I applied for - it's a no-go... ah well pretty much knew it as I had seen they already had picked out the people before I applied.
Saturday, we had a corn-on-the-cob / hot-dog party at dh's cousin's house.
Sunday called ds and asked if they wanted to come with us to small beach we had heard of but never been too 1 hour from here. Was a nice family moment. After lunch parent headed back and grandkids came with us, we visited a small natural museum on the way back with dinosaurs and they had to find animals in the forest. We all met here for supper.

The weather
Going to be another hot one but not as bad as the last few weeks. Last Friday we had remnants of Debby, we were ok here but lots of flooding everywhere.
Looking around the house
Need to do some chores today. Can't wait to get Fall decor out.
Thinking and pondering
Upcoming week, ddil gets her jaw broken in 2 places so she will be in alot of pain and won't be able to chew for 1 month. We will be having grandkids to sleep over at least 2 nights.

Sorry you didn't get the job you wanted. That's always tough. The small beach and dinosaurs look like lots of fun! Our summer program at work was all about dinosaurs so it makes me really want to go :) Love the hosting ideas for each month of the year, how fun! Hope you have a wonderful week.
