Happy Homemaker 2022-12-04

Good morning!

Resumé of last week:

Monday - Babysit grandkids as daycare was closed.  We took them to the grocery store (Anne-E was sick in the car on the way there) and then to the dollarstore where they each chose 1 item.  Bought 2 more stockings (smaller ones) for dd's boyfriend's children.

Tuesday - telework for me and dh spent the day cleaning up the built-in oven we had bought over the weekend.  He opened it up to clean in between the window and he changed the side for the door opening.  He cleaned up the inside too as it was dirty and he passed some air in as there was gypsum dust everywhere when we picked it up (they were redoing the entire inside of the house).  Since it is same as we had we will be keeping our own grills.

Wednesday - Grandkids are sick so ddil called to see if we had potage, we did not, but we made some + muffins + sent leftover sheppards pie too and brought them over to their house.

Thursday - In-town work + supper with cw's - girlfriends - got home around 9:00.  There were 6 of us and I gave them ornaments I had done over the last 3 years as we had not met together because of Pandemia.  DH babysat grandkids as they have a small cold.

Friday - After work babysitting grankids as it is office party for both the parents.  They slept here.

Saturday - ds picked them up and they all left at 4:30.  I did a few housechores while they napped and dh picked up some groceries.   Had not done much in the house since we were gone last weekend too.

Sunday started cooking / baking for the holidays.  Supper at restaurant with bil, sil, bil's sister and his cousin.  Nice outing.

Cough, cough, cough and headache again, sigh...
