Happy Homemaker 2022-12-12

 Good morning

Still sick from the flu - was sick all last week had to take 2 afternoons off work and tried to sleep a little. 

Kept my mask on this weekend as dd was here with her boyfriend and his 2 children.  DS was here with grandkids too on Saturday so gave the 4 grandkids their Christmas stockings.  The 2 new children are very nice and well-behaved.  We celebrated Xavier's 3rd birthday.

DD slept over with the children on Saturday night.  Sunday ds & grandkids came back in the morning.  DS, bil, dad & mom came for dinner (yay for frozen casseroles!)  Everyone left after lunch.  I picked up a little but mostly tried to rest.

Had to cancel dentist appointment today.  Grandkids are here too as Xavier has pneumonia (he has antibiotics since Saturday) and Daycare is closed as caretaker is sick too.

Thursday - bloodwork, ecg and lung rx (routine)
Saturday - babysitting as it is ddil's 30th birthday

  • Post here - DONE
  • Remake beds in basement - DONE
  • Grandkids are here

Decluttering
  • 1 old game board with missing and broken pieces
  • 1 necklace of christmas lights broken 
  • A few odds & ends in children's toys
  • Big window sold on marketplace... hoping it doesn't come back as the guy called back saying it wasn't what he thought... will lower the price
To relax this week or In my crafting basket 
REST  - Watch Christmas movies and listening to Christmas music.

    I'm so very sorry there is still so much sickness floating around you! Happy Birthday to your grandson (December's a good birthday month ;)). Sorry he was also sick around his birthday. Hope you have a good week, rest up, and feel much better for the rest of the Christmas season!

    I hope your grandson is doing better! It's been really bad here in the Detroit area. The hospitals are over capacity with flu, RSV, pneumonia and COVID! Hope he had a happy birthday and that you are having a good week.

    Sorry so late this week. Life continues to be crazy here too and my back isn't helping me out. Lol Happy bday to Xavier!! And sending huge hugs and prayers you all kick the sicknesses and are healthy for Christmas. Wishing you blessings always dear Lucie. xoxo

    Oh my goodness, I am so sorry you are still sick. I will keep you and yours and grandson too, in my prayers and thoughts that you all start to recover. Your beautiful smile at the top of your blog always makes me smile :)
