CIJ day 9 / jour 9

Coffee? Did you say coffee?  How about a jar for the coffee lovers.  Could be filled with different types of coffee beans, chocolate-covered coffee beans, a nice mug, biscottis (http://www.joyofbaking.com/biscotti/CappuccinoBiscotti.html ), specialty flavored k-cups, coffee trivia, coffee cup cozy (that you can sew or crochet), coffee ice-tray ( http://www.amazon.com/Cool-Beans-Ice-Cube-Tray/dp/B00LOSN3OW ) that you fill with coffee to make your iced coffee, coffee-scented candles, coffee sugar scrub (diy recipe source : https://www.evermine.com/blog/homemade-coffee-coconut-sugar-scrub/ ), …

Cappuccino Mix in a Jar

2/3 cup instant coffee granules
1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
1 cup powdered chocolate drink mix
1/2 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Have ready 2 (12 ounce) canning jars. Put the instant coffee into a food processor, and process to a fine powder. If you don't have a food processor, put it into a large plastic bag, and crush with a rolling pin. In a large bowl, combine creamer, chocolate mix, instant coffee, SPLENDA® Granulated Sweetener, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir together until well mixed. Spoon into 2 - 12 ounce jars. Attach a note to each jar that reads: Cappuccino: Mix 3 tablespoons of powder with 6 fluid ounces hot water.

Lots of things in this jar can be homemade to bring down the cost

  1. I am not a coffee drinker (not even a coffee pot in my house) but I saved this. I can think of a few people who might like this.

  2. You're giving me so many ideas! I have to make a gift for a door prize later this year - I'm going to have such a hard time choosing which idea is best.
