Happy Homemaker 2025-06-02

Good morning and welcome June

I missed posting last week.  We had dad's viewing and funeral the 24th and 25th.  It went well, lots of people.  Dad had lots of friends from snowmobiling and camping and he had his roofing company too.  It was exhausting emotionnally.

Mom is still in hospital waiting for a placement.  Sis meets social workers today at hospital.

We got back home last Monday at 4:15 and I worked all week.  Just getting back to a routine is what I am looking forward too.

Tuesday was in-town work had transfered my parking in June... duh! finally got in but it was a close one.

Friday had kids and grandkids over for supper and they stayed the night (with the dog too) and Xavier lost his 1st tooth

Saturday was a running festival and the 2 grandkids were in there for the 1km race.  They all left just before supper.  Was dh's 69th bday too (he is 9 years older than me)

Sunday was going to dd's as Alysanne (5) had her first dance recital.  Got back home at 9:00 last night. 

Today I have TONS to do around the house

Monday

• Tai-chi finished last week so no more classes, will give me more time to pick up this morning, but I did do a little when I got up this morning.
• 4 loads of laundry to do
• Post here - DONE
• Vac main floor (dh did it)
• Wash main bathroom - DONE
• Transfer $$ to dd for cake last night and a little extra for the costco run 
• Cut nails (hate long nails for me)
• Prep for in-town work tomorrow
• Do more sketchbook revival and workshop week... will chose a few as can't do it all.
• Dust all main floor
• Call for abdominal echography... pffff up to now goes in September at all the places I called... ah well it doesn't hurt anymore so that's good.
