Happy St-Patrick's day!
My 3rd week with the cold but it is going away slowly. Just coughing once in awhile (mostly during the night)
Last Monday & Tuesday went to town to take care of mom with one brother while other brother was with dad for more hospital tests. Mom is getting much worse but at times she's not too bad. Dad doesn't want to send her in residence for now.
Dad has more bloodwork this morning and is meeting doctor at 10:45, don't know if it's for his biopsy results or not. He has gone back to a normal color (was yellow before they did an operation so his bile can go through).
DH picked up Xavier from daycare on Monday as he was not feeling well. When he saw me (on Thursday they stayed here all day as he has another otite -earache) he said 'I'm glad you're back grandma' . I asked him if grandpa had been nice... he said well he slept and I watched tv hahaha.
Weekend dh worked at ds' to continue kitchen renovations and I did housework here.
UPDATE: We got the biopsy results for dad - pancreatic cancer. It is localised but we do not have the prognostic yet. He meets oncologist on Thursday and another hospital will view his results to see if operable or not
Let's join Sandra at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom . ,

Funny of the week
I am so sorry to hear of both your mom and dad. I am praying for your dad's biopsy results to be negative. Hope you have a blessed week!
ReplyDeleteMy dear Lucie,
ReplyDeleteI'm so so sorry to hear that about your Dad. Prayers for good treatment and for his comfort through everything. It's so difficult having aging parents. Sending you big hugs through the computer. And I loved Xavier telling about grandpa's babysitting. Lol Cute inspiration and Happy St. Patrick's Day to you! ☘️💚
