Good morning
A very busy week at work, had to do 10 hours of overtime (and I do NOT want to work overtime).. next 2 weeks should be very busy too.
DS and family are off in Punta Cana (the hotel where there was lots of flu going around on the news). DS was sick but only 1 day. Looks like they are having a nice trip, will be back this week. Dog is here with us. DH has been working and their house repairing differnt things while they are not there.
Saturday was errands all morning (Costco - found gift for 1 grandson, new pillows to bring to dd as she will be hosting and we will all be sleeping there, 1 sweater probably for mom, etc....), stopped at hardware store and got some greenery to put on top of bathroom armoire (poinsettia that was there will be given to niece), a fur cushion (thinking of my AFTER Christmas coziness), a concrete decor item with a young Buddha and greenery, etc... Then all afternoon was spent getting everything out of gift closet, put on master gift list and wrapped. Missing 2 gifts for 2 grandchildren and maybe a small thing for dd. Supper at Subways, picked up groceries for cooking on Sunday, and delivered 3 gifts (ornaments I made) to friends.
Sunday was spaghetti sauce in crockpot, 2 chicken/rice casseroles, fudge, skor squares, galettes, cook some ground beef for freezer, lots of dishes, vac dog hair all over the place. Went to Christmas market with 2 sister-in-laws in the afternoon. Used the 25$ GC I had won at the antique store - got 2 Santas. A big weekend but alot got done Christmas-wise.
Monday will probably work part of the day (usually my day off)

Hi dear Lucie! I sure hope you don't have to work more overtime. That's NOT fun for the holiday season. And hope your mail people come off of their strike. 🙏🏻 Sounds like you've been getting lots of Christmas elf jobs done - yay! Blessings on this fun season ahead. ❤️💚
ReplyDeleteOh what a busy week and so many overtime hours...
