Happy Homemaker 2019-09-02

Goodmorning,

Last week we sold ds's car after it had broken down, so that's one thing out of the way.  Now his girlfriends' car is getting repaired (breaks).

Had lunch at a restaurant with some co-workers on Thursday as one of the girls is changing jobs.  A retired cw came too and gave me a hand-knit baby hat for my son's baby.

Friday I took a vacation day and did groceries and started a crochet baby blanket.  Dh was told he changes job site starting next Monday... so that means I will be in at work at 6:30 instead of 6:00 (less time for gym) but more time to sleep in.  He will have less mileage to do to get to work.  It should be until January.

Saturday my husband went to paint the ceiling in baby's room (my son and ddil were not there during that time), so I went along too and did some housechores for them during the time we were there.

Saturday night we went to the MaltCommodes a nice restaurant with dh's cousin and his wife for his cousin's 65th birthday.

It was a 4-day weekend for me as Monday is our Labour Day weekend

Let's join Sandra at Diary of a Stay at Home Mom

  1. How wonderful to help out your son and daughter-in-law so much. I'm sure they really appreciated it. Those dresses are something! Very creative, probably not for actually wearing though. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

  2. Good morning Lucie! I love that quote and I whole-heartedly agree. Are you enjoying the Good Witch? Such great movies and now a TV series with several more seasons in the works.
