We had appointments every night last week.
I had Friday off and I spent the day with my sister-in-law cleaning at my son's new house (his 1st!). My daughter was here too and helped paint with dil and my son.
Saturday I deep-cleaned my son's room while it's almost empty and deep-cleaned the fridge (dd left after lunch), my husband and my son's friends moved all his belongings from his old appartment to his house. He also brought his bedroom furniture from here. Some of dil's friend helped her clean some more. Her dad paid the pizza for lunch and my husband paid the chicken for supper. First time we meet her dad and his girlfriend (and 7 month old child).
Sunday we did stuff here in the morning - I deep-cleaned basement LRoom as my son had taken the HUGE, HEAVY tv to his house and I had space to reorganize. Also deep-cleaned and reorganized basement bathroom cabinets now that they are almost all empty. In the afternoon went back to my son's house and dh hung frames. Mother-in-law (90) came to visit with us. My son had picked up his new dog in the morning (a mix collie and labrador), a cute little thing.

- Wash basement entryway floor (got the kitty litter out of there - my son brought his cat back to his house) and basement bathroom floor - DONE
- Post here
- Prep gym clothes and work clothes for tomorrow - DONE
- Make overnight oatmeal for my breakfasts (made dh's muffins last night)
- Groceries and dollar store
- Pick up giftcard for gift exchange
- Pay bills
- Replace Christms tree and Christmas village (the cat spent some time in there)
- Vaccum main floor
- Wash main bathroom
- Wrap last gifts and put the lot under the tree
- Ironing (did all laundry during the weekend)
- Take pictures of some of my Christmas ornaments to post here

Something fun I did last week
Had our work-lunch - it was a place where we had a cook teach us how to make the beef tartare, mayonnaise and fixings. We got hands-on training and then we ate there. It was super fun and good! A bit expensive but for once it's a great idea.

Your menus look great and I'm glad you've got Mondays off. Mondays are really my favorite day of the week. They just make me want to dig in and get my house in order, but yet they're relaxing. ReplyDeleteI'm the same way about not leaving the house on Monday... slide gently into the week I say. Of course I had an extra PT appt this Monday but, still. I like that quote! True that!
