Happy Homemaker 2018-03-19

Linking up to Sandra at Diary of a Stay at home mom

My husband worked on Saturday but on Sunday he decided to start the bathroom remodel - he did tell me it would be long because he'll be doing it during weekends only.  uggg all the dust everywhere from breaking the ceramic wall!  but it'll be so much better afterwards.

The weather
We had a cold weekend, temps of -16C during the night and -8 during the day with lots of winds.
Should warm up starting tomorrow, temps around 0C all week with no snow in the forecast.. and sun!!

What I'm reading
I've started 2 books.  One is a personal developpment book so I can't read it all in one shot because ... well that's me... not a story.  The myth of Happiness by Sonja Lyubomirsky
and La vieille lade, tome1 de Lucy-France Dutremble.

On my tv ... way too much!
La Voix

Looking forward to
Seeing the sun.  It has been so gray in the last few weeks that it'll do us good to see the sun.

Simple pleasures
Can't wait to sit outside in my rocking chair and knit in the sun.

From the camera

The cat seems to be really happy to be wearing the st-pat's top hat... little does she know Easter is coming and bunny ears would be cute ! haha

  3. Bathrooms always take the longest and make the most mess, but in the end are also the most rewarding - hope it goes smoothly after the dust settles. PERFECT inspiration! Have a GREAT week.
