It's that time of year again! CIJ! 1 month of crafts, baking, party ideas, gift ideas over at MHH forums.

Ways to Confuse Santa Claus
1. While he's in your house, go find his sleigh and write him a speeding ticket.
2. Leave him a note, explaining that you've gone away for the holidays. Ask if he would mind watering your plants.
3. Leave out a copy of your Christmas list with last-minute changes and corrections.
4. While he's in the house, cover the top of the chimney with barbed wire.
5. Instead of milk and cookies, leave him a salad and a note explaining that you think he could stand to lose a few pounds.
6. Leave Santa a note, explaining that you've moved. Include a map with unclear and hard-to-read directions to your new house and ask for your gifts to be delivered there.
7. While he's on the roof, yell up to Santa, asking if he'd mind adjusting your TV antenna. When he does so, tell him, "That's good" and don't let him move until the commercials come on.

They look so much like their older brother Alexandre (except for the hair color).

Just needed some felt and photo-magnet page bought at the dollar store. It will make all the difference for a Christmas atmosphere in the kitchen!

Prayer for Vanessa

Vanessa passed away March 6th at the age of 7. She is now an angel in heaven. We love you Vanessa and will never forget you.
Take care of your mom, dad and sister because they still need you very much.

Elf mischief and gifts 2008

Last year Jujubes visited our house but this year he brought a friend along "M" and they have brought gifts and done some elf mischief too.

Here are a few 2008 Christmas family pictures. Aren't we cute??

Elf 2007

Pics of Jujubes.. the elf who visited our family in 2007

Last year Santa sent us one of his helpers to check if the kids were nice until Christmas. Jujubes arrived on December 1st with 2 advent calendars, his passport and a letter from Santa explaining his mission.

During the month of December he brought a few gifts; DVD National Lampoon's Christmas, etc...

We also found him listening to a Christmas movie, eating chips and having a softdrink with some of other plush toys.

Once we found him in the kitchen with a band-aid on his knee and a letter adressed to the kids saying he had tripped on stuff in their room and they had better clean up their act or else he'd tell Santa!

My kids (15 and 17) liked it even though Ds-15 didn't want anyone to know about this. DD liked it very much.

Boobash gifts and food

The boobash was not a supper but everyone brought something to eat in the evening... TEEN food ... chips, pretzel mix, mini-pizzas, cocktail sausages, cheese & crackers, vegetables and dips, meat spreads and crackers, mini-orange cookie balls, witch finger cookies, rice-krispy treats, sugar cookies... and candies!!! Everybody brought their own alcoholic beverages but I had juice and softdrinks for everyone.

I received some gifts too!! That was a suprise. 2 bottles of wine, 1 gift-pack of 4 boxes filled with chocolate and nuts and a BEAUTIFUL witch which one of my friens made herself out of wood.
