Good afternoon,
Work: last week was busy, they changed a system and instead of taking me 1/2 day for a file it now takes 3 days for the same thing, have to do everything manually. Had fun with cw at Joe's smoked meat on Tuesday for lunch. They changed parking from midnight to 8:00 pm on the 20th, with a waiting list on the system... pfffff. I finally got mine but never made the waiting list at 7:30.. 2 cws never got their parkings ... system is NOT working well.
DH picked up grandkids Thursday and they stayed for supper. Helped Xavier with his homework then picked up ddil and dropped her off with Anne-E to her dance class. (they sold their car and will pick up new one at the end of this week. DS was at work with other car)
Thursday went back to dentist she says it isn't my crown that is hurting when I eat it's the other back tooth. so for now just let it be for a while and use sensodyne. If it hurts too much she will change the filling, but she says it should be ok for awhile.
Saturday was houschores in the morning then we went to an outside corn on the cob (and hot-dog) party for the local snowmobile association. There were some blowup games so grandkids, ds and ddil spent part of the afternoon there too with some friends. It was free but voluntary contribution. DH also bought tickets for the prizes. I left around 5:00 and dh stayed with sil and bil until 8:00. It was cold in the evening outside!
Gastro called for a phone appointment on oct. 3rd... but no time scheduled in the day - when she has time ... I do have an osteo appointment at 9:00 am that day.. Hoping she won't call while I'm there.
Sunday was Xavier's 2nd hockey practice at local arena at 8:00 am so we went there and then stopped to get gaz and pick up some groceries. DH still working on the paint in his garage (he managed 2nd coat on ceiling but was nauseous again with head bent - he says last time he paints a ceiling). I made a tomato (with neighbor's tomatoes), bell pepper, leek creme (soup) and dh made american stir fry in the afternoon. Bought tickets for supper and retro show at our local white geese festival Oct 10 for us, sis, bil, uncle and aunt.
Got some plastic thingies to put inside my armoire door to hang some necklaces and earrings, instead of all mixed up in the big (but nice) box on my bedroom dresser.
