Goodmorning!
Thursday, dh picked up grandkids at school and daycare so they had supper with us.
Saturday we went to my daughter's house for Ely's 5th bday, with their friends and son-in-law's family. Son and dil were gone with friends at a cabin in a zoo.
Sunday was a routine chores day, with some time spent chatting with neighbors in the afternoon. Mother's day supper was us with neighbors, sil and bil at St-Hubert's chicken. Then a hockey game to watch.
Going to be a tough week emotionally, today it's 1 year since mom was placed in a home and tomorrow will be 1 year since dad passed.
Hoping we don't have ANYTHING next weekend, I need some routine ;)

- work in the office - deep spring-cleaning and reorganizing. can't wait to retire and get rid of the BIG gray desk. (need it for 2 screens and monitor for telework)

- Wash main bathroom

Decluttering
- 1 rotating lady suzan - to daughter (got a nice wooden one at mom's)
- 1 rotating tupperware lady suzan to niece
- 3 pens
- 2 blankets (picked up a nicer one at mom's)
- Children's colored pages and drawings.
Simple pleasure
Happiness book journaling, planning the next few months before retirement... summer, outings I'd like, etc...

Last Mother's day with mom just before we dove her to a home -we tried very hard to have a happy picture and not cry.

I've been getting the summery stuff out too as well as continuing to declutter! I've bought some large bins to finally separate the seasonal things in the attic so it will be organized. I'm very jealous of your retirement talk! I can't wait to be able to retire! Best of luck and blessings in all the planning!
