Happy Homemaker 2025-12-01

Welcome December!  and it snowed all day yesterday, looks very Christmassy.

Had grandkids over 2 nights last week (parents were out of town for work).

Sunday we went to see Xavier's hockey drafting.. was really nice the event to get them into teams.

Have updated my gift list, I think I'm about finished (need to pick up something for grand-niece)  I prepped the cards that have $ in them (nieces and nephews), finished the photo ornaments for family members.  Have a few $$ to transfert to some others and have some things to put in gift bags.

All Christmas desserts are done too and in freezer.  Might be able to start enjoying the season soon.

Update: 

• DH will pick grandkids at school and daycare and they will be here for supper.  DS is in town and ddil has meetings until later today.
• Got a call from gastroenterologist might markers are a little up so will have more testing in 2 months time to see if it's back to regular or not.
• Got a call for dh for ORL tomorrow... and I am in town with the car, will have to leave work early and finish my day here instead so he can go to his appointment.

December 31st? do I host or not? used to host every year before covid, but ... I remember last year thinking this year I would host, so need to see if some people are available or if everyone is already busy (know my 2 brothers have something).
