Happy Homemaker 2025-09-22

Good afternoon and happy Fall y'all!

Last weekend was a busy one.  Saturday morning we went to see Xavier's 1st hockey practice. and then we went to dd's. DS, ddil and grandkids did too.  The grandkids played in the the rides at the fair.  We all had supper at dd's and ds, ddil and grandkids came back home for the night as Xavier had another practice on Sunday morning.  

We stayed the night at dd's and left after breakfast on Sunday.  We then went to my uncle's house (2 of them live next to each other) and a 3rd uncle was there visiting so was nice to see and chat with everyone.  Sis and BIL joined us in the afternoon.  We all left after supper and got back home last night at 9:00 pm.

This morning is a whole lot of housechores, but we had a lovely weekend with the family (pictures below)

Grandkid funnies:

Anne-E:  We were going back to dd's house after the fair and we kind of rode around trying to find a grocery store (finally didn't), at some point Anne-E says 'where are we?'  I said I didn't know, I think we're lost.. so she answers... oh no!! I won't see my dad again ... :)

Geez I have no memory, I have to write them down as they say them, they were so funny the four of them this weekend.

Finally some rain in the forecast!  we need it.  temperatures will be nice.

Looking around the house

So much to do! so little time to do it all.  Basement is shaping up somewhat but I still need to declutter down there.  Sis will be coming for Canadian Thanksgiving and will give her some children stuff for her granddaughter.

Thinking and pondering

Signed some papers and gave them to sis yesterday for mom.  She will sell the cars this week to the company (brother's).
