🎄 CIJ Day 21 – Holiday Vignette in a Lantern

Today we’re making a mini holiday scene inside a lantern! It’s an easy way to decorate without needing much space, and you can switch it up each season.

🕯 Why a Lantern?

Lanterns add a warm glow and are easy to reuse. You can keep one out all year and just change what’s inside!

🎁 How to Make It Festive

Here’s how to style one for the holidays:

• Start with a medium or large glass lantern.

• Place a few small ornaments, pinecones, or a mini tree inside.

• Add a flameless candle for cozy light.

• Wrap a bit of ribbon or greenery around the top.

You can set it by your front door, on a shelf, or even as a centerpiece.

💡 Bonus Tip:

Use a color theme like white and gold, or red and green — and keep it simple. Less is more here!

I have a lantern that I style for every occasion.  I bought some round fairy lights for it and it is beautiful.
