Good morning

Today is my last vacation day, then tomorrow is Canada day so I have it off also.  Back to work on Wednesday.  At least not going back in town this week.

No change for Mom, she is still in hospital waiting for placement.  We will be goin on July 5th so I will go see her.

Got news from my abdominal echography - all is fine.  I think I had a kyst that ruptured.

Was on vacation all last week but such hot and humid temperatures.  Did not accomplish that much.

Tuesday grandkids spent the night and Wednesday we went to town with grandkids to the cinema (to see Lilo and Stitch 2), then took the Ferry to next town, got them to play in water sprays, McD's.  Dropped them off at their dad's baseball game at 8:00 pm

Thursday was my birthday and a slow lazy day.  DH made me a big breakfast and then I had happy hour with cw's for my bday in the evening.  Lots of fun and laughter.

Friday was another lazy day.  Ate supper with neighbors in our gazebo.  Neighbor's wife had bad news... they will operate her for a 5th time for her cancer (a rare one with no protocol to follow) and she already had chemio last Fall.  Doctor says she will operate but then they have to have a talk because they can't keep operating indifinately.. she turned 60 last February.  Then wi-fi was off all evening... no tv, no internet, no phone.  dh called saturday morning and they will credit $25 on our next bill.

Saturday was a rainy day... did LOTS of decluttering.  Supper was fondue.

Sunday was regular housechores and visiting 2 sil's in the evening to chat.

Too hot for Monday and then rain, rain but nice temperatures

Looking around the house

Did housechores on Sunday so all is fine.  Did quite alot of decluttering but still need to do more.

Mom - we will be going to town on July 5th for a cousin's 60th bday and we will go see mom while there (3 hour drive to and 3 hour drive back).  we will spend the weekend there - will sleep at my brother's house (sis will be out of town).

Decluttering

• Started with basement drawers where I put my clothes that are too small.... giving away to my niece:
  
  • 8 pants,
  • 2 skirts,
  • 1 capri
  1 baby playpen... well it's not quite out of the door yet but on its' way
  Went through a tub with children's clothes and got things out to give dd for her step-daughter:
  
  • 1 skirt + sweater
  • 1 sweater + 1 legging
  • 1 Christmas ensemble (given away at thrift store)
  • 1 short with suspenders
  • 1 summer dress
  From toy box:
  
  • 1 writing box with lighting
  • 1 baby bottle
  Need to repair the advent calendar I made and that I brought back from mom's. DD wants it.
  
  Then I went up in the attic to get Halloween costume and accessories as the summer camp needs it for the children... I have ALOT (made by me). They are already GONE 
  
  • 2 skirts (thrown away just too old and out of shape)

  • Hat and beard St-Patrick's
  • 1 spaghetti costume (pants, sweater and overturned pasta bowl)... as if the spaghetti pasta bowl was overturned over your head

  • 1 Indian dress
  • 1 costume little house in the prairie (skirt, shirt, apron, handbag, 3 bonnets, gloves)

  • Fake nails
  • 3 fake scars
  • 1 pumkin necklace
  • 1 red polka dot shirt
  • 1 white shirt
  • Pink and black panty hose
  • 1 Costume of pipi longstocking (pants, sweater, apron)

  • Costume half-awake / half-asleep (sweater & pants)
  • 1 Egyptian costume with accessories (head crown, bracelet, belt)
  • Black and white dress (Marilyn Monroe style)
  • 1 afro wig, 1 blond wig, 1 pink wig

  • 1 plastic tub to put stuff in
  6 children books given away to free library (GONE)
  
  6 fruit baskets and 4 fruit plastic containers to shared fridge installations (GONE)
