Happy Homemaker 2024-04-15

Good morning

Busy work week helping out some cw's... more of the same for the upcoming week.

Throat and coughing were better since Friday but this morning woke up to it again :( hope it passes quickly.

Grandkids came by last Wednesday for supper and on Sunday they arrived at 8:30 with their dad for breakfast.  ddil joined us for lunch and they left after supper at 6:00.  We went to the park with them in the afternoon.  Had bought a pair of jeans with a monster on them for Xavier... there was only 1 pair and I had a feeling the size was not right on them.. they said 2 but... in fact they are way big.. they must be around 3.  doesn't matter they'll fit later on.  While they were napping I saw a bicycle hat on Marketplace (spiderman) and we went and got it .. he was happy when he woke up.  I also found in my stash a dinosaur patch I had bought when ds was little, ddil will put them on some pants of his. 

I reserved a swing seat for the kids to tie to our tree (we had a baby swing seat but it is too small for xavier now) and some protection gear Bell Sports Spiderman Protective Bike Gear, 6 pieces included - Walmart.ca on Marketplace.  we will be getting them on Monday.

Looking around the house

I did pick up after the kids left yesterday and vac'd all main floor. So it's fine in general.

Thinking and pondering

No time to think and ponder hahaha...

Need to call dd to see if we might see her this weekend

Talked with sis this week and dad & mom not doing well

Neighbor (my age), 3 years in a row operation in the Fall rare cancer... got other results this morning, will have to have another operation and chemo

Finishing off regular programming and started watching our 2nd season of our local survivor.

• Vac main floor
• Deep-cleaned 2 entry closets and switched winter and summer coats
• Deep-cleaned bathroom armoire and closet

Monday

• Post here - DONE
• Prep for in-town work tomorrow
• Wash main bathroom,,... will get done sometime ...
• Errands:  2 marketplace pickups, costco, 1 car piece to pickup on the other side of main town, dh went to see some cars too, had lunch at a hot-dog place, got home at 3:00!  so just unloading and the day is done

• 1 bath towel (made rags)
• 1 hair brush
• 1 sweater
