Happy Homemaker 2019-08-19

Had a 3-day week at work because of my Monday off and 1 day was a small intervention at doctor's office that didn't work.. so now I wait 2-3 months before they call me for an echography and then 1 full year of waiting to try again (I am priority 'E' ) ... at least it doesn't change anything for now and nothing is hurting.
My sister reserved a cabin for our Thanksgiving weekend in October for the family - for my parent's 55th wedding anniversary.  It's halfway between them and us.
Was another hot week but a few days with less humidity which is great!
Friday night we went to see a free music concert in next town 'Pépé et sa guitare'

Saturday my son, his girlfriend and her little sister (15 months) and the dog came for supper.
MIL came to sleepover (my sil, where she usually sleeps, was on vacation).
My husband finished putting dirt in the backyard, mowed the lawn and changed my son's car trunk (it was rusted) and then disposed of the old one.
I started some deep-cleaning of kitchen cabinets.

  1. OMG the hockey players... whew! That got my heart rate up! Are you in Quebec City? Oh I love it there... used to live in Edmonton Alberta and traveled Canada. Forgot I'm watching good witch too. LeeAnna

    1. Yes we live near Quebec City. We did cross Canada with my parents when I was young. Would love to travel Canada again, but it costs so much for airplane fares in Canada!

  7. Hey Sweetie!
Love catching up as always. I especially loved your pics. The Christmas one is adorable. And so jealous you got to meet those awesome hockey dudes! I watch my share all winter - besides watching my daughter play at school. Lol I adored the Philly Flyers during the "legion of doom" era. 😉

And you always find the best funnys! Hope the humidity calms down. Blessings on the rest of your week xoxo
