2nd craft ready for Christmas 2013

I decided that I would crochet a smurf ornament to put in the Christmas tree for dnephew(3) for next Christmas.  I looked at some pictures on the web but I couldn't find a pattern so I made it up as I went.
Here it is unassembled:
