Bon Jour du Souvenir

Monday was feeling blah after my vaccines last Sunday but it was ok starting Tuesday.  Tuesday I went to eye doctor - no change in my eyesight so no rush to change glasses.  got prices... $$$$  Just the glasses are 1000$ + frames.  will wait and go see elsewhere maybe.

Thursday grandkids were here for supper

Saturday went to dd's for Alysanne's 5th bday. DS and grandkids came with us as ddil had the 24-hour flu on Thursday so she stayed home in isolation.  We left around 8:15 and got there 2 hours later.   DSIL made us fresh pizza for lunch.  Around 3:00 lots of his friends came over with their children for the birthday.  His parents were there too.  His mom had made the mermaid cake with strawberry coulis.  supper was lasagna with caesar salad.  We left around 8:15 as grandkids had swimming lessons Sunday morning.

Sunday was housechores, working on Christmas ornaments for gifts and visiting a little with bil, sil, his sister and his cousin.

Getting much colder this week

Looking around the house

All Fall decor is down and some Christmas is going up.  Have Christmas ornaments making stuff all

over the kitchen table.  Tree is up with nothing in it yet.. because of course... the lights are not

working. so will have to go light-shopping this week

Thinking and pondering

Need to step up on the Christmas prep and gifts and everything else it all entails.
