Happy Homemaker 2024-04-01

Good morning

Had a 4-day weekend with Good Friday and Easter Monday and I took Thursday afternoon off too.

Thursday I finished a paint tutorial and dh went to order new glasses.

Parents, sis & bil arrived Friday for lunch.  Dh had picked up grandkids for lunch too.  DS & ddil arrived for supper and left around 9:30.  They other all slept here.  Nice time spent with family.  Saturday parents & sis left around 9:00.  Ds & DDIL came by for breakfast and picked up granchildren as they were going to their other grandpa's house for the day.  So we relaxed and did some housechores the rest of the day.  

Sunday was nephew's bday and Easter brunch at sil's house.  DS, ddil & grandkids came too.  We were 22 for the brunch.  DS & ddil left around 2:00 to come back to our house and walk their dog.  We came back with grankids around 4:00.  The guys got Subway for supper but not for me as I was feeling puny with sore throat since Saturday night.  They left around 6:00 as kids were super tired.

This morning Xavier called on Ftime because he said he was missing us hahaha and he chatted for almost half an hour showing me his dinosaurs and drawings.

The Weather

Warming up a little, last week was COLD with WINDS, lots of winds.  Today is 2C and sunny

but windy again.

Looking around the house

Need to take down Easter decor and put up some spring flowers.  Change paintings in frames 

For Spring ones.  House is not too bad.

Thinking and pondering

Wondering if I should go in to work tomorrow... throat and ears are hurting... will see by the end of the afternoon if I need to put my parking to further in the month (we can't cancel but on the 20th of the month we can move it to the other month).
