Morning!

So last week had posted but not published... so I guess lots of people didn't get to see last week's post :(

Last Friday ds and ddil had the echography for the baby but they couldn't see the sex yet.  However, all seems fine.
Saturday night dd & ddil were to come for supper but ddil was not feeling weel so ds came by with the dog.  
Sunday afternoon we babysat the dog.
DH decided to give ds the mowing tractor he bought last week, so I'll be buying dd a new computer for school - lucky kids!

Morning!

Last week I went to knitting lady on Monday so I've got some homework to do to finish the sock heels.
We received the bathroom cabinets and of course each piece has something wrong with it, so my husband had to remove the armoire he had installed and they will be going back to get repaired)... never ending!
It's a 3-day weekend here.  Lots getting done around here.  Saturday night we went out for a car ride just the two of us and ended up getting hot-chocolate and doughnuts at Tim Horton's (I got the lemon bread).
I am taking Tuesday off work (vacation days I have to use up).

Had this picture of my son's cat when we had him shaved last year :)  She was pretty mad and it was difficult to shave her but she loved it afterwards - se was much more playful.

Morning!
Had my evaluation at work last week - all is good for the bosses (not so much from my point of view, ...)  
Hurt my foot at some point (not sure if it's from my sciatica - seems it can hurt from the knee down without hurting down the back) - will see I go to massage therapist this morning.
Friday I took the day off - had to go to hospital to deliver a sample and wouldn't you know it they gave me the wrong kit - so to do again :(  Also got my hair cut and colored.  We babysat the dog.. and of course it was raining  I had not tied him well outside so I had to go get him in neighbor's garden (not yet planted) rolling around in the mud... both of us where covered in mud! :)
This weekend we went shopping with my son and daughter-in-law.  I bought myself a new folding patio table at Ikea's.  Got some things at Costco's too.
The armoire is installed in the bathroom! and I started putting stuff back in there (still needs a little more organizing).
For mother's day we went to eat supper at my son's house.

Happy Homemaker 2019-05-06

Morning!

No more snow  -we had great balmy temperatures all weekend.  Friday I took a day off as my daughter arrived Thursday night for a few days.  Friday, dd and I went to town for some errands and lunch.  Then we picked up groceries on the way back.  My son and his girlfriend (and the dog) came by for supper Friday night too and then we had a movie-night (Twilight) for the girls.  At some point dh went to bed and my son went to help his best friend who is moving in his own house.
Saturday we did spring chores and my sister-in-law came by for lunch - hamburgers on the grill - 1st grill of the season.  DD and I went to visit ds's best friend's new house too while walking the dog.  My daughter left around 3:40 as she has a big week coming up (4-days of on-the-job training) and a dance recital.  We spent the evening at one of dh's cousin's house and told them our big news (grandparents).
Sunday was more of spring chores day - dh also spent a few hours at my son's house to help patch up the hole in the driveway that the flooding had done.  We had supper at a local place with sil, bil and mil.  And then it was the grand finale of our local 'The Voice' , the 4 finalists were all great singers.

• scheduled massage therapist appointement for the 13th (he wasn't available this week)
• washed gazebo (dd washed the patio set)
• got all the screen windows washed and put in place on main floor
• baked muffins
• made overnight oats for my breakfasts this week
• cut pineapple and put in small bowls for work snacks
• prepped small bowls of yogurts & fruits for dessert (lunches)
• made hamburger patties with a big pack of ground beef
• got LR curtains aired (or rather dh took care of that one)
• mopped kitchenette and bathroom floors
• started washing guard rails (have 1/3 done) - the sooth from the neighbor's garage fire last Fall seems to wash out now (it didn't at the time but with winter and rain it seems to be easier to take off)
• Washed my winter bedding and got the summer one on my bed
• I have a wood lantern that I emptied of Easter decor and filled with spring/summer decorations.

• Call knitting lady if I can go this afternoon or next week (went last Monday but still need to go to finish the sock heel)
